This is Kevin Phou. Kevin is currently an emerging professional at the Year Up program studying Application Development at Seattle Central College.
Kevin decided to join the Year Up program due to the program enabling young adults to go from mininum wage jobs to meaningful careers in just a year. As of right now, 2023, Kevin for the past 4 years, since 16 years old, Kevin has been working and looking for new opportunities, including networking. With skills in communication, retail and problem solving skills from his previous jobs, Kevin going onto this program, learned new professional skills such as business communication, VsCode, Eclipse, HTML/CSS, Javascript, Java, Github, Microsoft Excel, completing Linkedn Learning courses and still learning many more skills required in his path to becoming a professional. He has the abilities to pick up, learn new projects and has the ability to improvise when needed
Kevin just completed Yearup's Learning and development phase. As of late March, 2023, Kevin is currently an intern at Microsoft Corporate as a Test Engineer. You can find Kevin on LinkedIn . There, you can connect with Kevin, he is always looking to work and build new opportunities.
Kevin believes in utilizing time management correctly. When time is used correctly and efficiently, there's so much that can be discovered and accomplish, whether that be creating state of the art new innovations or moving onto something much bigger. It's never too late to start now
